Eric Herrington is a children’s picture book writer. Herrington has written several titles, including six realistic fiction titles and two featuring characters with diverse abilities. Herrington is a member of SCBWI and a local book critique group. Herrington was a former ELA and Writing teacher who played basketball (background for HOOP CLEAN) and was on a soccer club team (and upcoming soccer title) in college. Herrington is an Honorary Lifetime PTA Award recipient, teacher, #SCBWI #PBParty #PB #KidsChoiceKidLitWritingContest #KidLitPit #amquerying #amwriting participant. When Herrington is not writing he enjoys time with his wife and son watching reruns of Seinfeld or The Office (American version), playing original Wii games, eating chili-flavored shelled almonds, and playing with “White Pawz” and “Jackjack” (named after Jack “Stalwart” by Elizabeth Singer Hunt) sibling orange tabby cats, and walking and being “aware” when inspiration strikes.
